Hello from the homeschoolers! You know, the kids who say ‘aint’ and stare at you awkwardly when you try to talk to them?
This is a message to all of you out there who weren’t, aren’t, or never want to be homeschooled.
Before I begin, I want to put this out there. We—we being homeschoolers—well, we’re a little bit in awe of you. Spending hours every day in a classroom must get kinda tedious but you deal with it so well.
We don’t mind telling you about homeschooling
You don’t have to be afraid to ask us if we like it, how it works, etc. We don’t mind at all.
We know you think homeschooling must be hard, but public/private school seems harder to us
Now honestly, which sounds harder: school in PJs or school in a stinky classroom with a whole bunch of other kids?
We aren’t always graded, but we still don’t get away with sloppy work
If you do something wrong, you do it again. Simple as that. Not everything needs a letter grade attached to it
